Acorn House

This kitchen remodel posed many challenges due to rerouting mechanicals (i.e. plumbing, electrical, etc.), a common problem when working on ‘Deck Houses’. As well, it included the removal of several partition walls, all the cabinets, and stripping the floor. The project also required reworking the fin tube heating that was installed behind the existing cabinets. A new cabinet hanging wall was installed and the cabinets were mounted with a back hanging rail system and adjustable feet. The cabinets were supplied by the owner and were Ikea.
